Antidotes to Remedies
Antidotes are a curious thing.  There are a few substances that will antidote the remedies every time they are used.  There are other substances that seem to antidote remedies only in certain people, and not others.  And some substances will only antidote certain remedies, but not others.  Some substances in small quantities don’t seem to antidote, but in large quantity will.  Some substances will antidote no matter the quantity taken, especially the substances that always antidote.  Confused?  In the beginning avoiding the substances that always antidote remedies, should be sufficient.  But if the remedies aren’t working and you can’t figure out why, check and see if you’ve been using another possible antidote.
Substances that always antidote remedies (this also includes any products which have these substances in them):
Camphor   Menthol  Eucalyptus Oil

Strong Chemical Odors

(Anything with that strong
overpowering cooling yet
burning affect)

Substances that may antidote remedies in certain people, but not others:

Mint
Tea Tree Oil
Alcohol
Coffiee
Caffeine Products
Latex (or other petroleum products)
Drugs (especially steroids)
Tobacco
Substances that may antidote certain remedies, but not others:
Garlic
Herbal Teas
Raw Onions
Alcohol
Medicinal Herbs
Include the List Above

Once- in-awhile there is a surprise in what is antidoting a person’s remedy.  If a person is suffering because they are using something that is not good for them the remedy will only be effective for a short period of time, eventually the toxicity of the substance that is not good for them will win out again, and they will suffer again.

Do not be too concerned about antidotes.  In our practice it seems harder then you would expect to antidote most remedies, but it is still a consideration.
